Desktop Background Instructions for Mac

Step 1

Save the background image to folder on your computer (the Pictures folder is a good choice).

Step 2

Click on the Apple icon on the menu bar then click on System Preferences.

Step 3

Click on the Desktop & Screen Saver icon.

Step 4

Find and choose the background image. After you choose the image it will automatically display on your desktop's background.
