Update from Dippin' Dots

Information regarding online ordering and product availability

Updated January 3, 2020

The Dippin’ Dots team is tremendously grateful for all of the outreach and support we have received from our fans, franchisees and customers since the incident at our plant on November 22, 2019 (see below Nov. 25, 2019 update).   We are thankful that all four employees who were injured were soon released, and have been recovering at home.

Reconstruction efforts at our production facility are underway, and we are very encouraged by the progress that is being made every day.  Although we hope to have manufacturing back up and running soon, there may be a period of time in which some flavors are not available.

Dippin’ Dots will temporarily be unavailable to purchase online, while some flavors may still be available at your local store, shopping center, entertainment venue or convenience store.

We are very sorry if you are unable to find your favorite flavor where you normally buy Dippin’ Dots.  If you would like to be notified when online ordering is available again, please sign up for our Dot Crazy! Email Club here.

A Statement from Dippin' Dots

Updated December 1, 2019

Friday evening, Nov. 22 at around 8:35 p.m. Central Time an accident occurred in the production area of the Dippin’ Dots manufacturing facility in Paducah, KY. Four employees were injured and transported to local hospitals. We are very thankful that all four of those employees have been treated and released and are recovering at home.

We have contacted the proper local, state and federal officials and will be working side-by-side with them to conduct a thorough investigation. It is premature for us to comment at this time without the benefit of facts from a comprehensive investigation about what may have happened. Please be assured, and we will conduct a rigorous investigation with an aim to making sure something like this never happens again.

Additionally, we want to thank our local first responders for their quick and capable assistance on Friday. We appreciate what they did to help us.
